CONFIRMATIONS

Confirmation packages will be mailed to each studio within 7-10 days of the competition. The package will include your confirmation letter, studio code, music labels, competition running order, weekend schedule of events, as well as directions to the competition venue.

MUSIC REQUIREMENTS

Please provide 1 professional quality CD recording for each entry. A back-up CD must be available for all entries. Cassettes will not be accepted.

An individual CD must be submitted for EACH entry.

ONSTAGE NY music entry labels will be mailed to the studio in the confirmation packets.

All music MUST be submitted to the music desk no later 60 minutes prior to performance.

All submitted music must have ONSTAGE NY music labels attached.

All music must be cued with no more than 3 seconds lead time. A deduction of 5 points will be made for improperly cued music.

It is recommended that all music be recorded in a non-dolby format with audio recorded on both left and right channels.

MASTER CLASSES

Prominent NYC dance educators and master teachers will offer a variety of Master Classes and audition workshops to competing performers during Nationals.

Master Class fees: $ 25 Single Class
$ 60 Three Class Card
$125 Unlimited Classes

WORKSHOP SCHOLARSHIPS

TWO New York City Dance Alliance Regional Workshop Scholarships will be awarded in each of the Master Classes - based entirely on the work done in class. Scholarship winners will also receive a $25 Gift Certificate for 'LANTERI NY' Dancewear. A minimum of 30 dancers must be in attendance in each class to warrant the awarding of Regional NYCDA Scholarships and Lanteri NY gift certificates.

VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY

VIDEOTAPING AND FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED DURING THE ENTIRE COMPETITION WEEKEND. (Disqualification could result).

Audience members may only photograph performers from their own dance studio.

All dancers authorize the use of their image in photos and video for ONSTAGE NY publicity and advertisement purposes.

ADMISSION

Admission to the competition is free.

Audience will be allowed to enter and exit between numbers only. Doors will be closed during performances.

Teachers of competing dancers will be given reserved seating. However, absolutely no visual coaching is allowed.
