REGIONAL TITLE AWARDS
The following ONSTAGE NY Titles will be recognized in each Competition City.

All title soloists will participate in a brief 'interview' with the judges- conducted onstage during the competition.
Each soloist may enter 1-3 regional solos for ONSTAGE NY Title consideration. The total title adjudication fee is $100 per solo. Be sure to check the appropriate box on the solo entry form.
Title Entries are eligible for Overall High Score Awards - at Regionals only.
All title entries will be required to step center stage, introduce themselves, hometown, age, and dance performance piece (prior to performance).
Title entries will receive a separate 'Title Interview' score in addition to their performance score. The final Title Score will be 70% performance score, 30% interview score.
A Title Winner may only represent one Regional city per year.
Title Winners may not compete the same entry in another city the same season or at all the following season.
ONSTAGE NY Regional Title Winners will each receive:
· ONSTAGE Winner's Jacket
· A NYC Dance Alliance Regional Workshop Scholarship
· $25 Lanteri NY Gift Certificate
· Automatic Acceptance into the NYC Dance Alliance Summer Dance
Intensive (only for dancers 14-19 years of age).
All Regional Title winners are invited to participate in the 2010 ONSTAGE NY National Finals. They will be featured in the Gala Opening Number.
NOTE: You do not have to win a Regional Title Award to compete for the National Title Awards. There will be no follow-through from Regionals.
2009 National Title Winners are not eligible for 2010 Titles.
CLASS ACT AWARD: The judges will recognize one studio who consistently present their dancers in a 'classy', professional, and age-appropriate manner. The award will come with a $200 ONSTAGE NY Gift Certificate - valid at the 2010 Finals or a 2011 Regional Competition.
ENTERTAINMENT AWARD: The judges will recognize one entry in each of the FIVE Age Divisions they feel demonstrates outstanding entertainment qualities. The award will come with a $200 ONSTAGE NY Gift Certificate - valid at the 2010 Finals or a 2011 Regional Competition
VOCALIST AWARD: The judges will recognize a performer who has demonstrated exemplary singing talents in their performance. The winner will receive a $250 scholarship to the NYC Dance Alliance Summer Dance Intensive - to be redeemed anytime before their 20th birthday. In addition, the winner will receive a $50 Lanteri NY gift certificate.
TRIPLE THREAT AWARD: The judges will recognize a performer who has demonstrated exemplary acting, singing, and dancing talents in their performance. The winner will receive a $250 scholarship and automatic acceptance to the NYC Dance Alliance Summer Dance Intensive - to be redeemed anytime before their 20th birthday. In addition, the winner will receive a $50 Lanteri NY gift certificate. (MORE THAN ONE Triple Threat Award may be given on a regional weekend - at the discretion of the judges.)
CRITICS' CHOICE AWARD: The panel of judges will choose one number in each of FIVE Age Divisions and designate it as the 'Best of Show'. Each ONSTAGE NY Regional Critics' Choice Winner will receive FREE competition entry fees for that entry at the 2009 ONSTAGE NY Finals. (Adult entries are not eligible for Critics' Choice Awards.)
All 2009 critics choice winning entries may not compete in 2010.
Many other Judges Standout Awards may be presented each weekend - at the discretion of the judges.
